EMERALDS (5+ Years) Team Lead and lead developer for the DISA GIG
office’s enterprise application for a piece of the SATCOMs community.
Started on task from ground zero and designed and implemented the team’s
software development processes using the AGILE methodology. Implemented a
development lab environment and created the team model to provide the
customer with optimum support. Configured, implemented and administered
Team Foundation Server as a development tool in the lab environment.
Travelled globally to user community to capture and analyze business
requirements, attended the communities CCB and represented the developer
group. Maintained the software requirements, software design, feasibility, team
model, change management and other miscellaneous documentation. Deliverables and tasks included building a proof
of concept using SharePoint 2003. Upon testing results and requirements
analysis the decision was to upgrade solution to MOSS 2007. Using Microsoft
Office System 2003 smart clients were created and deployed to individual
stations for use with inventory management. The smart clients were comprised
of MS Access/InfoPath Solutions/Nintex Workflows/Excel (Excel
Services). Also the application went through Information Assurance
guide lines that are required by the DoD. This includes the DITSCAP/DIACAP
process to obtain certificate to run on the DISN/SIPRNET/NIPRNET. Worked hand
in hand with security engineers to obtain and pass the requirements. § Client: United States Army Information Systems Engineering
Command / Commands SharePoint Collaboration Environment development (2
Years) Team lead for developing the commands Enterprise
Information Portal. Primary responsibility includes setting up proof of
concept environment for Phase 1. Roles included System Administrator,
Database Developer / Administrator, Portal developer / administrator, coder
(developer using asp.net, asp, c, c#, java, vb, vs.net). Designed and
developed the workflow and business process for the EIP along with developing
the plan for the document management system (a part of the portal). Integrated applications being used across the
command so that the PM can gain access through one sign-on. Teamed up
with Microsoft Consulting Services to develop this system using MS
Windows 2003 server, Active Directory, Project server, BizTalk 2004,
SharePoint 2003, Windows SharePoint Services, Content Management Server 2003,
SQL Server 2000, and Office 2003/XP/2000 along with other programs as the
backbone. Used Nintex (2003 version) to create workflows for several
different teams throughout the command. Integrated command tools such as
Telelogic DOORS along with command tools that have been made from ISEC
personnel. § Task: Database /Web Development (Present – part time on
call) Developed and maintained several MS Access
database programs for miscellaneous teams to support their tasks. Developed,
administer and maintained a SharePoint and Project Server instances for GD
office to provide several teams with a collaboration environment.

Project Office of FPED directorate while on the Operation Cell.
Responsibilities included development and maintenance of a Task Tracking Tool
with a SQL Server Database for the backend. Also developed an ACCESS database
which was used to maintain an up-to-date report of all the SPO’s personnel’s
contact information as well as their certain training and skill sets. Researched emerging technologies and collaborated
with team on creating a white paper for client. The paper was about emerging
technologies that will be emerging for the government between the years of
2005-2010. Responsibility was to research the specific sections of emerging,
application software, database technology, and internet and/or web
development. During this task also assisted another contractor on building a
tool, which used a SQL Server database for its back-end and several ASP pages
for its front end. This tool was built specifically to house all the data

Developer contractor supporting the Department of Commerce. Developed
several different websites for the client. Developed a dynamic website that
was used to obtain government forms and fill them out on the internet and
then submit them to a database which housed all the information for the CWC.
Also under this contract developed another web based tool that held all the
information packets needed to submit to the Department of Commerce for export
